ABOUT ME
Meet Casey Schreiner
I am a professional writer and producer with 20 years of experience in scripted and live television, web, print, and live events. I have worked both solo and managing teams of writers and producers -- on projects that have months of lead time and on live shows with turnarounds of only a few hours.
I have developed projects from scratch, taken over projects developed by others, and written for comedy, non-fiction, historical / documentary, outdoor advocacy, and public-facing corporate presentations. I've written for award-winning actors and people who have never been on a stage or in front of a camera before. I've written pieces for far-reaching magazines and even the Los Angeles Times. I've written three books for two different publishers. And I've created and managed one of the web's leading outdoor brands since 2006.
I split time between Los Angeles and Portland, OR. I love dogs and donuts.
What can I help you with?

I worked on nearly every aspect of G4's flagship daily, live variety program, rising from an Associate Producer to Head Writer. I was in charge of managing a team of four writers to create a 12-minute opening comedy segment and sketches, often day-of with only a few hours to prepare. I worked closely with the Executive Producers and Segment Producers to ensure consistent tone and voice on this groundbreaking show about internet / nerd culture.
Attack of the Show won many awards, including Tellys, Webbys, and a Cable Ace Award, as well as two Guinness World Records.
